November 15th Journal entry

Hello everyone,
Well, I just wanted to share with you an awesome event that took place Night.

About a month ago, there was this man who came to church. We all just assumed he was a member of the church. We had a wonderful spiritual Sunday School Class. As I have mentioned before, our young teacher is one wonderful teacher, any how, as we all participated in the class, many of us were baring testimony about the subject of the lesson and the importance of the gospel in our lives. One wonderful meeting. Any how, afterwards, in visiting and introducing ourselves to him we all found out that he wasn't a member, Who would have guessed. He acted like a member and even participated in reading scriptures. The doctor went and found the full time Elders. They came and talked to him. They have been teaching him and tonight he was baptized. He is a single man probably in his 50's and in the air force. He said he learned about the church and upon arriving in Chile he looked up the church and came to the meeting. He had been living in China and couldn't be taught in
China. Amazing story.. We are all so excited for him.
Never seizes to amaze me how people here in Chile are looking for the
gospel. Everyone day, it seems that we get phone calls about people
hearing of the church and wanting missionaries and want to be baptized.
